Settings and API keys
Connect an AI for script breakdown, add download tokens, set defaults, and check your models.
Open Settings from the sidebar (on a phone, from the tab bar at the bottom). Most changes save when you click out of a field.
Connect an AI
An AI model is optional, but it unlocks two features:
- Script breakdown: turns an idea or script into characters, locations, scenes and shots. See Make a film.
- Enhance prompt: the sparkle button in the composer, which rewrites your prompt with more detail.
Under LLM provider, choose one:
Choose Anthropic and paste your Anthropic API key into API key. Leave Model empty to use the default (claude-sonnet-5), or enter another Claude model name.
Choose OpenAI-compatible to use OpenAI or any service with an OpenAI-compatible API, such as OpenRouter. Fill in:
- Base URL, for example
https://openrouter.ai/api/v1 - Model, the model name your provider uses
- API key
After you save a key, the field shows that it’s set but never shows the key again. To replace it, type a new one. To remove it, click Clear.
Download tokens
- Civitai token: needed to import some LoRAs from Civitai on the LoRAs page, including NSFW ones.
- Hugging Face token: raises Hugging Face download limits, and is needed for gated models (ones whose terms you must accept on Hugging Face first), such as the optional LTX-2.5 video model.
Defaults
- Default aspect ratio: the aspect ratio new work starts with.
- Default video quality: Fast (480p) or HD (720p).
Models
Shows each group of models your pod downloads and whether it’s Ready, Downloading or Not enabled. Features that need a group unlock when it’s ready.
If a download is waiting on a gated model, a Hugging Face token field appears right under it. Paste a token there and click Save. The download starts within about 15 seconds, with no restart.
Groups that are Not enabled weren’t part of the preset you deployed. To get them, deploy the Full studio preset from blockbuster.studio.
Disk
Shows how much of your pod’s storage is used and how much is free. When less than 3 GB is free, the studio stops accepting new jobs. See Storage is almost full.
Sign out
The Sign out button is at the top of the Settings page. Sessions otherwise last 30 days.
Set keys when you deploy
You can also set these as environment variables under Set overrides on Runpod’s deploy page, or later with Edit Pod. If you set an AI key or token in both places, the one on the Settings page wins. STUDIO_PASSWORD works the other way: when it’s set, it replaces the password you created in the studio.

Agent access
An AI agent such as Claude Code can make films in your studio on its own: write the storyboard, render, review each shot and export. It signs in with an agent token instead of your password.
The Agent access section of Settings has the steps to connect one, including a command you can copy. New token replaces the token, and agents using the old one stop working. If you set the token yourself with the STUDIO_AGENT_TOKEN variable, change it in Runpod instead.
